Ostinatos is a music form short melodic phrase repeated throughout a composition, sometimes slightly varied or transposed to a different pitch. A rhythmic ostinato is a short, constantly repeated rhythmic pattern.

Use the nature of fold and dye effect that repeat the same pattern but each time is slightly different to echo the ostinato music form. Inspired by Canto ostinato for 4 pianos by Simeon ten Holt, I made 3 of the 4 works that shows the evolution of pattern changes between the 4 works. Music is happening in times. This is the exploration to capture the on going changing music patters of ostinatos.
